Our Vanilla is precisely from to Regions of Madagascar: Mananara and Sambava (Called the Vanilla's Capital).  We are exclusively selling A grade Madagascan Vanilla (Bourbon Planifolia and also the Tahitensis variety grown recently on the Island), Non Alcoholic Vanilla Paste and Non Alcoholic Vanilla Extract.   

     

But what is Vanilla?    

Madagascan, Mexican, Tahitian, Indonesian and Ugandan vanilla are the main varieties used today. The term "Bourbon vanilla" refers to the Vanilla beans provenance as being from the Bourbon Islands, most commonly Madagascar but also Mauritius and Reunion. The name comes from the period when the island of Reunion was ruled by the "Bourbon kings"of France and has no relation to Bourbon Whiskey

This Vanilla variety well known as BOURBON (nothing related to the whiskey label that confirms its provenance. Only the islands of Ile de la Reunion and Madagascar can bear this name.
